John has spent 30-years gaining deep experience and expertise across enterprise selling, sales management, business leadership and culture change. This experience has been with both multinational organisations (e.g., IBM & Deloitte) and smaller businesses where he was both a director and shareholder (e.g., JLS Computer Services and System Dynamics).
As a former Irish rugby international, John was always interested in ‘why we do what we do’; and as his career developed, realised that as with sports teams, it is people and their behaviour that is at the core of success and failure. He began on an academic journey of understanding and researching the psychological aspects of behaviour and motivation, which now positions him in a relatively unique position of having deep practical experience of business leadership and behaviour change, combined with empirical academic knowledge of behaviour, motivation and coaching.
