What is Organisation Effectiveness?

In simplistic terms, it’s the internal workings of an organization and it’s ensuring that the internal workings are aligned to the organisation’s strategy, their vision, their purpose.

I work using five levers;

1.The organisation’s design &  the actual organisation structure.

2. Culture; how are we going to behave in this organisation?

3. Performance management and reward.

4. Succession planning; making sure you have the skills and capabilities for both today and the future

5. Change Management.


Why is it important?

It’s important not just from an HR perspective but for everyone in the organisation, the leadership team needs to look at the organization holistically and so if you’re going to change one of those levers you need to understand how it’s impacting the others …..
